MONTREAL IMPACT soccer will air again on CTV GLOBEMEDIA Sports CKGM-A (THE TEAM 990)/MONTREAL for the next two seasons under a new deal that will see all 15 regular season home games, the two NUTRILITE Canadian Championship matches at SAPUTO STADIUM, and a friendly match against ANTIGUA BARRACUDA FC broadcast on the station. Home and road playoff matches will also be included. BRIAN WILDE and NOEL BUTLER will call the action, and BUTLER will host a weekly show, "ORANGES@HALFTIME," about the IMPACT.
"We are thrilled to have sealed a new deal with this partner," said IMPACT EVP RICHARD LEGENDRE. "Our radio partners enable fans to follow the Impact yearlong and have without any doubt contributed to enhance our club's visibility during the last two seasons."
"We are excited to announce that we have extended our partnership agreement with the MONTREAL IMPACT for two more years," said THE TEAM 990 GM WAYNE BEWS. "We are very proud to renew this opportunity to offer Montrealers play-by-play coverage of the Impact and look forward to yet another successful run on the pitch and on THE TEAM 990."
The IMPACT has a deal with CORUS QUEBEC for French-language coverage.
