MCA/NASHVILLE Sr. Dir./Southwest Promotion EJ BERNAS hosted the 6th Annual MUSIC ROW SPRINGTIME STROLL for St. JUDE CHILDREN’s RESEARCH HOSPITAL on FRIDAY (3/26) in NASHVILLE.
Members of the music industry gathered to walk 100 yards downhill on Demonbreun Street to raise money for the cause. After the walk, a concert was held at the TIN ROOF, featuring performances by MALLARY HOPE, ASHTON SHEPHERD, JONATHAN SINGLETON, RHETT AKINS and more.
EJ tells ALL ACCESS that the event was a success, although he did come out with a knee injury that will require surgery. He said: "I tore my meniscus in my right knee and I'm having surgery WEDNESDAY morning (3/31). The track was slick - we normally take all the right precautions to ensure safety. I can't believe I suffered the first injury in the 6-year history of the event. We had a great event and probably one of the best music nights. All the performers were amazing. Thank you to all the people who help and give their wishes for this event. The people on MUSIC ROW are amazing - SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE, CURB RECORDS, BIG MACHINE, UMG/NASHVILLE, BIGGER PICTURE and MICHAEL POWERS, 377 MGMT. Truly awesome!"
Early numbers show that at least $15,000 has been raised from the event for the kids at St. JUDE. A final total will be announced soon. Kudos to all involved.
