Receiver Takes Over New Mexico Stations

ROSWELL RADIO, licensee of Classic Hits KSFX, Top 40 KBCQ-F (HOT 97), Country KMOU and Oldies KBCQ-A/ROSWELL, NM, and QUAY BROADCASTERS, INC., licensee of Country KQAY-F and Country KTNM-A/TUCUMCARI, NM, have been placed in receivership, with court-appointed receiver TRISHA INGALLS applying to the FCC for a license transfer. INGALLS was appointed receiver by CHAVES COUNTY District Judge CHARLES C. CURRIER on MARCH 25th.
In other deals filed with the FCC, MARKET STREET BROADCASTING, LLC is selling Country WHPO (101 COUNTRY)/HOOPESTON, IL to HOOPESTON RADIO, INC. for $400,000.
COMBINED MEDIA GROUP, INC. is transferring FM translator K275AZ/COLLEGE CITY, AR to EAST ARKANSAS BROADCASTERS OF JONESBORO, LLC for no consideration. BOBBY CALDWELL owns 45% of the transferor and 60% of the transferee.
And THE LITERACY COUNCIL OF INDEPENDENCE COUNTY INC. is transferring low power FM KCCJ-LP/BATESVILLE, AR to JUBILEE FAMILY CHURCH, INC. for no consideration.
