HEARST Talk WBAL-A/BALTIMORE will keep former MARYLAND Governor ROBERT EHRLICH's show on the air even though EHRLICH has announced that he will run for Governor again this NOVEMBER, reports the BALTIMORE BUSINESS JOURNAL. However, the station will pull the show in JULY when EHRLICH formally files his paperwork to officially become a candidate, GM ED KIERNAN said.
EHRLICH's wife KENDALL, his co-host, has "verbally committed" to continuing as solo host after the JULY deadline, KIERNAN told the paper, adding that the station has reached out to incumbent Governor MARTIN O'MALLEY to offer him a show, which O'MALLEY has previously declined.
