CLEAR CHANNEL AC WNIC/DETROIT "Breakfast Flakes" KEVIN O'NEILL and LISA BARRY are out. The pair were informed this morning after wrapping up their show.

O'NEILL told ALL ACCESS, "Not totally unexpected but always an awful feeling when it happens. Ironically, my final break on air I mentioned that it was 30 years YESTERDAY (4/4) that I was first on the air in DETROIT at WDRQ in 1980. Had no idea that would be my final break."

However ... ALL ACCESS is picking up 16 tons of market speculation that JAY TOWERS will eventually join RENEE in mornings at WNIC. TOWERS is already signed to a deal as CLEAR CHANNEL Programming/Talent Consultant and is currently doing middays at CLEAR CHANNEL Rhythmic AC WISX (MY 106.1)/PHILADELPHIA, (NET NEWS 2/11). Wonderers are wondering if the other shoe will drop. Could it be as early as JULY?
