FCC Extends Reply Comment Period In 'Open Internet' Docket

The court decision in the COMCAST V. FCC case, which ruled that the FCC does not have the authority to enforce "net neutrality," has led the Commission to extend the reply comment period for its "open Internet" proceeding to APRIL 26th.
The original due date for replies was MARCH 5th, and the date was previously extended to APRIL 8th. The extension was in response to requests by the CTIA, the UNITED STATES TELECOM ASSOCIATION, and the OPEN INTERNET COALITION to allow more time so that parties can consider the legal implications of the case.
