Contemporary Christian radio program "THE BRIAN MASON SHOW" will celebrate its 30th anniversary on SUNDAY, MAY 2nd. The show broadcasts on SOUTH CENTRAL AC WJXA (MIX 92.9)/NASHVILLE and has aired on general market stations in NASHVILLE since 1980. The show is a 4-hour weekly broadcast that features long-form in-studio interviews and a programming mix of songs of faith from the 1970s through today.
"Over the years, the show has enjoyed a great deal of success. When the show began, Contemporary Christian music was still in its infancy. We've had the privilege of premiering many record projects and introducing hundreds of new artists and groups to our NASHVILLE audience," says host BRIAN MASON.
"THE BRIAN MASON SHOW" first aired on NASHVILLE's WSM on MAY 4, 1980. The station's format change in FEBRUARY 1983 moved the show to WLAC where it spent the next 15 years. With yet another station format change in FEBRUARY 1998, WJXA became the program's new and current home.
