Mindy McCready Speaks Out About Sex Tape
April 13, 2010 at 10:27 AM (PT)
ICONIC RECORDS/LINUS ENTERTAINMENT/E1 artist MINDY McCREADY is speaking out on the now-delayed release of her recently-surfaced sex tape, “Baseball Mistress” (NET NEWS 4/6). THE BOOT is reporting that the tape was allegedly stolen from a family friend and MINDY had no idea the tape existed.
She tells COUNTRY WEEKLY: "This has not been a media stunt. This was not a planned thing. I wish the media would think about things before they say them. It is a possibility that there are more people out there than myself who are trying to capitalize on me. The fact that every single thing that [media has speculated] that I did or orchestrated is simply not true."
MINDY will release a self-penned tell-all autobiography, titled “I’m Still Here” (which is also the name of her new album), revealing personal details of her past. It will be released in the fall.
