Music/video digital distribution company THE ORCHARD has opened a new office on NASHVILLE’s MUSIC ROW. The MUSIC CITY office will be led by longtime NASHVILLE music veteran DAVID KASTLE, most recently VP of BUDDY KILLEN MUSIC GROUP. He started his career at ACUFF ROSE PUBLICATIONS and also founded MOVIECUES, an online music licensing resource connecting independent musicians/songwriters with music supervisors.
TURNPIKE MUSIC/NASHVILLE (helmed by NINE NORTH President LARRY PAREIGIS) has signed a partnership with THE ORCHARD for promotion. Marketing agency NASHVILLE 2 YOU, run by RICK BARKER, will also team up with THE ORCHARD for future digital distribution projects.
THE ORCHARD has also signed an exclusive partnership with FUNL, a new venture from music industry veterans PAM BROWNE, TAMARA ALAN and NANCY ECKERT. THE ORCHARD and FUNL will help launch a new single and album from Country artist TY HERNDON. TY’s new single, “Journey On,” is now available at all digital retailers, and the full-length album of the same name will be released JUNE 8th.
