In a report showing that almost all media advertising is on the rebound, BARCLAYS CAPITAL has become especially bullish on Radio. According to SUITE101.COM, BARCLAYS now predicts that radio advertising will enjoy the biggest increase in the revised 2010 forecasts.
After its original 2010 forecast called for a 4% decline, BARCLAYS first revised its prediction on FEB. 15th to a 2.2% growth -- and now expects radio to grow by 7.4%. Overall, they see 5.5% year-over-year growth in the 2010 U.S. advertising market in 2010 -- mainly due to growing optimism in auto advertising.
