WXCL's Danger Dan Ticketed After Accident In Station Vehicle

The PEORIA JOURNAL STAR is reporting that JMP RADIO Country WXCL/PEORIA, IL’s DANGER DAN of the WAKE UP WITH THE WOLF morning show was ticketed after rolling over the station vehicle in the parking lot of a BIG LOTS store on TUESDAY (4/20). 

DAN was headed east on Forrest Hill Avenue approaching Sterling Avenue, when he attempted to pass a vehicle that had slowed down to turn left, according to police. Instead, the vehicle put on his right turn signal and turned right into BIG LOTS.

DAN struck the vehicle as he attempted to pass it on the right side of the road, causing the station vehicle to roll over and skid to a stop. DAN was cited with “improper overtaking on the right.” He was treated at the scene for an injury to his arm, but no other injuries were reported.
