FUNL Music/Nashville Launches

PAM BROWNE and TAMARA ALAN have announced the launch of FUNL MUSIC/NASHVILLE, a full-service marketing, distribution, artist development and support company. FUNL, which aims to provide resources for independent artists, has signed a global distribution agreement with THE ORCHARD. FUNL will release their first album from TY HERNDON on JUNE 8th.
BROWN said: "Our goal is to provide a new, innovative opportunity to independent artists. The music industry is in a state of constant change, and we believe that we're uniquely positioned to provide a range of services that have previously been unavailable to many independent artists."
BROWN, who is the CEO of FUNL, is a graduate of VANDERBILT LAW SCHOOL and has managed several successful music groups in addition to her work as an NFL agent. She has also served as the Dean of the MIKE CURB BUSINESS PROGRAM at NASHVILLE’s BELMONT UNIVERSITY. Pres. TAMARA ALAN is a graduate of PEPPERDINE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW and has managed a variety of Country, Rock and Contemporary Christian artists and songwriters.
NASHVILLE entertainment attorney NANCY ECKERT will serve as FUNL's VP/Legal and Business Affairs, while music industry veteran RONN TABB joins FUNL as VP/Marketing. ECKERT is an entertainment and corporate attorney with more than 14 years of legal experience. TABB most recently held the position of VP/Marketing at WARNER BROS./WORD RECORDS and has worked with such artists as AMY GRANT, RANDY TRAVIS and P.O.D.
