Grupo Radio Centro Q1 Revenue Up, But Loss Widens

GRUPO RADIO CENTRO first-quarter revenue rose 6.7% year-to-year to Ps. 166,281,000, attributed to revenues from Spanish AC KXOS (EXITOS 93.9)/LOS ANGELES, under LMA from EMMIS, but broadcasting expenses jumped 43.4% to Ps. 160,783,000, also attributed to the addition of KXOS. Net loss doubled from Ps. 14,663,000 to Ps. 27,597,000.
The company owns or operates 15 station 12 in MEXICO CITY and one each in LOS ANGELES, MONTERREY, and GUADALAJARA, plus the GRUPO RED stations in MEXICO and the ORGANIZACION IMPULSORA DE RADIO programming and sales network.
