COLD RIVER RECORDS artist KATIE ARMIGER has partnered with “HEAR THE MUSIC LIVE,” a non-profit organization to give pre-teens and teens in foster homes and orphanages a chance to attend a live concert in their area. KATIE performed a show in NASHVILLE for some of the kids in the program recently, and it was there that she met the group’s founder STEVE NORNHOLD, and was asked to record a theme-song for the organization.
“I am so grateful to be able to help bring some music into these children’s lives with the ““HEAR THE MUSIC LIVE,” organization,” said KATIE. “I don’t know where I would be without music so giving kids the opportunity to experience a live concert is so amazing.”
Some of the artists to participate in the program include KEITH URBAN, MILEY CYRUS, SELENA GOMEZ, TIM McGRAW, BRAD PAISLEY, LADY ANTEBELLUM, and RASCAL FLATTS. Ninety percent of the children who have been to a show through “HEAR THE MUSIC LIVE,” had never been to a concert before.
The “HEAR THE MUSIC LIVE,” theme song recorded by KATIE will be made available on iTunes. For more information, go to www.hearthemusiclive.org.
