Q1 Net Revs Up 10.6% At Univision

UNIVISION COMMUNICATIONS has announced financial results for the first quarter ended MARCH 31st. For Q1, net revenue increased 10.6% to $453.7 million from $410.3 million in 2009 and adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization1, or OIBDA, increased 17.2% to $180.3 million in the first quarter of 2010 from $153.8 million in 2009.
Radio revenues slipped from $66.5 million in 2009 to $64.3 million in 2010. Interactive media revenues were up from $7.5 million in 2009 to $9.3 million in 2010.

Throughout the first quarter 2010, UNIVISION RADIO posted solid ratings in the markets measured by the ARBITRON diary method and in HOUSTON, where ARBITRON's PORTABLE PEOPLE METER is accredited.
Interactive Media Highlights
For the first quarter 2010, combined visits to UNIVISION.COM's online and mobile sites increased 28% over first quarter last year, according to UNIVISION.COM's MRC Accredited U.S. & P.R. Traffic Analytics and mobile site host QUATTRO WIRELESS. During the quarter, UNIVISION INTERACTIVE MEDIA officially launched both the UNIVISION channel on YOUTUBE, as well as a platform for full length video on UNIVISION.COM.
