KKHI Price: $2.325 Million; Capitol Closes On Sale Of N.C. CP

BUSTOS MEDIA's price for the previously announced sale of Smooth Jazz KKHI (K-HIGH)/DENVER to WAY-FM MEDIA GROUP is $2.325 million, according to the sale contract filed with the FCC. WAY-FM has taken the station Contemporary Christian under an LMA.
In other deals filed with the FCC, GREENWOOD ACRES BAPTIST CHURCH is selling Adult Standards KASO-A/MINDEN, LA and Contemporary Christian KBEF/GIBSLAND, LA to ROBERT J. AND MARY J.E. WHITAKER, LLC for $300,000; TOCCOA FALLS COLLEGE is selling Religion WLET-A/TOCCOA, GA to TUGART PROPERTIES, LLC for $20,000; and KANZA SOCIETY, INC. is selling FM translator K205CR/GUYMON, OK to JOHN MULHERN for $2,500.
And RAMA RADIO OF NORTH CAROLINA, INC. has taken WWKO-A/FAIR BLUFF, NC off the air. In its Silent STA request to the FCC, the company blamed "financial difficulties" for the move and asked for six months to remain silent.
Capitol Closes On Sale Of N.C. CP
CAPITOL BROADCASTING CO., INC.'s WNCM-FM, LLC has closed on the sale of the construction permit for WNCM/GARYSBURG-ROCKY MOUNT, NC to ALAN L. BUTTON's PINESTONE MEDIA CORP. for $550,000.
JOHN CUNNEY of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as broker for the seller in the deal.
