Maryland Gov's Ads Run On Rival's Radio Show

Former MARYLAND Governor BOB EHRLICH hasn't yet given up his HEARST Talk WBAL-A/BALTIMORE show to launch his campaign to return as Governor, and the delay has set up an awkward situation, as the BALTIMORE SUN reports that a campaign ad for EHRLICH's rival, incumbent Governor MARTIN O'MALLEY, aired on EHRLICH's show this week.
The ad, which rips EHRLICH as living in a "fantasy land" regarding his claim to have left a budget surplus after leaving office, ran twice on SATURDAY's show.
EHRLICH is remaining on the air until he formally files his paperwork for the Republican nomination. The petitions are due JULY 1st.
