Average Joe's No Longer Average ... Add Urban Imprint

AVERAGE JOE's ENTERTAINMENT, the ATLANTA and NASHVILLE-based record label, launched in 2008 with flagship artist COLT FORD, has announced that they have now formed AVJ RECORDS. Also to be based in ATLANTA, AVJ will be an Urban imprint, and the first two signings are NAPPY ROOTS and BIZARRE.

AVERAGE JOE's ENTERTAINMENT CEO SHANNON HOUCHINS will be President and JASON “BOOGIE” BROWN is VP of the new label.

The company has had success with COLT FORD, who has sold over 200k units over four titles released in the two years and over 500k in digital track downloads. Other artists on the roster include MATT STILLWELL and JOSH GRACIN.
