The NASHVILLE chapter of the AMERICAN FEDERATION OF MUSICIANS, AFM LOCAL 257, has established a special flood relief fund, the NASHVILLE MUSICIANS FLOOD RELIEF at SUNTRUST BANK in MUSIC CITY.
AFM LOCAL 257 President DAVE POMEROY said: "Our community has been devastated by the recent floods and the NASHVILLE MUSICIANS ASSOCIATION is making every effort to help our members in this time of need. Some of our members have suffered losses to their homes while others are reporting overwhelming losses to studios, instruments and gear which severely affects their ability to earn a living. Like a lot of people in Middle TENNESSEE, many of our members are without flood insurance."
There are several ways to donate, such as by PAYPAL online at www.nashvillemusicians.org or by going to any SUNTRUST branch office to donate to the “Nashville Musicians Flood Relief Fund” account. You can also make a donation in person at the AFM local office or by mail. Make checks payable to the NASHVILLE MUSICIANS FLOOD RELIEF FUND and send to AFM LOCAL 257, 11 Music Circle North, NASHVILLE, TN 37203.
