When flood waters rose in NASHVILLE recently, CLEAR CHANNEL's CHATTANOOGA cluster stepped up to lend a hand with OPERATION GOOD NEIGHBOR. On MAY 6th, CLEAR CHANNEL CHATTANOOGA held a 13-hour radiothon that raised over $20,000 to fill almost three tractor trailers with fresh water for NASHVILLE area residents and businesses.
In a press release, CLEAR CHANNEL CHATTANOOGA GM JARED STEHNEY commented, "We’re glad to use the power of our great community as well as the power of radio to bring some relief to those at need."
The radiothon was broadcast and manned by staffers from CLEAR CHANNEL CHATTANOOGA's Country WUSY (US-101), Top 40/Mainstream WKXJ (103.7 KISS-FM), Rock WRXR (ROCK 105) and Hot AC WLND (98.1 LND).
