Report: Bluewater To Emerge From Bankruptcy

MONTGOMERY, AL-based BLUEWATER BROADCASTING has reached agreement with creditors on a reorganization plan to emerge from bankruptcy, reports the MONTGOMERY ADVERTISER.
BLUEWATER and parent ALTA-BLUEWATER HOLDINGS, owner of Talk WACV-A, Country WBAM-F (BAMA COUNTRY 98.9), Urban WJWZ (97.9 JAMZ), and Oldies WQKS-F (Q96.1)/MONTGOMERY, AL and programmer of Talk WMRK (NEWS TALK 107.9)/MONTGOMERY, filed for bankruptcy last AUGUST. COO RICK PETERS told the ADVERTISER that the company's management team remains in place.
The company has filed the paperwork with the FCC to move the stations from debtor-in-possession status back to full ownership by BLUEWATER.
