CMA Industry InSite Explains All About The Recording Process

The recording process is the focus of the latest installment of CMA INDUSTRY InSite, an online educational series for members of the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA).
This is the 13th episode, called “In The Studio,” which features interviews with CORNMAN MUSIC Songwriter/Producer/Owner BRETT JAMES, SHAW ENUFF SONGS Artist/Songwriter/Producer/Owner VICTORIA SHAW, STATION WEST Engineer/Producer/Owner LUKE WOOTEN and SHOW DOG-UNIVERSAL MUSIC President MARK WRIGHT.
This installment discusses the roles of the record producer and audio engineer, as well as all aspects of the recording process, including tracking, overdubs, mixing and mastering. New episodes of the CMA INDUSTRY InSite are posted on the third MONDAY of the month. With each new show, CMA members are able to submit questions to a panel of experts.
