In a revelation that can only be described as "sensational" on a TMZ Richter Scale, CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/Mainstream, WKQI (CHANNEL 955)/DETROIT MOJO in the Morning show can bask in the glow of a having a "future" MISS USA -- as the grand prize winner in its "Stripper 101" competition.
RIMA FAKIH, newly crowned MISS USA, was a contestant in MOJO in the Morning's Stripper 101 event in 2007. In Stripper 101, real-life strippers teach a select group of female listeners in the art of strip tease and pole dancing at the COLISEUM GENTLEMAN’S CLUB in DETROIT. At the end of the class, one contestant walks away with jewelry, gift cards, adult toys, and a stripper pole for home use.
RIMA FAKIH was the grand prize winner in 2007. She did not remove any clothing during the contest; photos of her performance have been on the station's website for the last three years
Nevertheless, MOJO In The Morning producers have been contacted by representatives of MISS UNIVERSE requesting more photographs and information regarding FAKIH's involvement in the "Stripper 101" contest. When asked if FAKIH's status as MISS USA was in danger, pageant representatives would not answer.
