CBS Spent $1.55 Million On Lobbying In Q1

CBS CORPORATION's lobbying efforts cost the company $1.55 million in the first quarter of 2010, up from last year's $1.06 million and fourth quarter 2009's $1.35 million, reports the ASSOCIATED PRESS.
The lobbying effort largely involved the music royalty issue and the FCC's broadband plan, a disclosure report filed with the House clerk's office stated.
CBS lobbied Congress and the FCC in the quarter.
