Receiver Takes Over New Northwest Broadcasters

The licenses held by NEW NORTHWEST BROADCASTERS, LLC are being assigned to ALAN M. DAVIS' REVITALIZATION PARTNERS, LLC as receiver for the company. The move, a WASHINGTON state court procedure, was made under a court-supervised Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors. NEW NORTHWEST owns 31 full-power stations and an FM translator in WASHINGTON state, ALASKA, and OREGON.
In other filings with the FCC, CALVARY CHAPEL OF COSTA MESA, INC. is selling noncommercial KJCU/FORT BRAGG CA and KJCQ/WESTWOOD, CA along with FM translators K209EU/LAYTONVILLE, CA and K210DZ/WILLITS, CA to LIVING PROOF, INC. for $100,000 in a promissory note. The stations would be operated as satellites of the buyer's KWTW/BISHOP, CA.
KEYS MEDIA COMPANY INC. is selling Classic Rock WKYZ/KEY COLONY BEACH, FL-KEY WEST to MORGAN LOGAN LICENSE HOLDINGS, LLC for $1 million.
DAVID C. SCHABERG has transferred his 50% interest in SAIDNEWSFOUNDATION, the permittee of KYCO/LIMON, CO, WJKX, HANOVER, MI, and construction permits in RAPID CITY, SD and HASTINGS, MI to MARTHA BOEHME and WILLIAM SHARP, leaving the latter two directors with 33% each and SCOTT BOEHME with 34%. SCHABERG, the application says, "has been accused of lying to the FCC but no final determination has been made nor has any effort been made by the FCC to resolve the matter." SCHABERG's resignation from the board "is to facilitate the granting of pending applications by the foundation and to relieve the Foundation of the burden placed upon it by the Commission's failure to resolve Mr. SCHABERG's status."
