WXCY's Tim Hartley Escapes Unharmed From Fire At His Complex

The Flames At Tim's Complex

DELMARVA BROADCASTING Country WXCY/WILMINGTON, DE middayer TIM HARTLEY is counting his blessings after he escaped safely from a fire that burned through the apartment complex where he resides. TIM tells ALL ACCESS that around 3:30a (ET) last FRIDAY morning (5/14), his neighbor knocked on his door to let him know their building was up in flames. The fire had not reached his unit, since he lived on the other side of a firewall, but his unit did sustain major soot and smoke damage.

After the flames were put out, nine people that lived in the complex lost everything. TIM was able to recover all of his belongings and the apartment complex owners arranged for everything to be cleaned from top to bottom. He has been staying in a hotel room all week but he tells us he should be able to move back into his place this weekend.
