Survey: Radio Newsrooms Go More Digital

The latest release from the RTDNA/HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY survey of TV and radio newsrooms shows an increase in the use of digital technology in radio newsrooms.
In the survey, 62.6% of radio stations noted that they are using digital audio recording and 54.2% said that they are using digital editing and mixing. Asked the same questions about "percentage of news material," over 76% said their news was gathered digitally and 80.9% said it was mixed and edited digitally. 82.5% said their news was played back or aired digitally.
