The FCC has dismissed a challenge to the reallocation of several stations in OREGON after a settlement was reached between challenger CUMULUS and the parties seeking the changes. The settlement, in which CUMULUS is paying a total of $393,000 to resolve several disputes, will lead to a frequency change for BICOASTAL MEDIA Oldies KACI-F/THE DALLES, OR, mutually contigent with a move of CUMULUS' Rock KNRQ/EUGENE to TUALATIN, OR, downgraded to a Class A but covering the PORTLAND market.
KACI's former construction permit, which is being dismissed in the present action, would have precluded KNRQ's move into PORTLAND.
