SHOW DOG – UNIVERSAL MUSIC artist RANDY HOUSER and Country icon LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS, along with the world famous NASHVILLE honky-tonk, TOOTSIE’s ORCHID LOUNGE, helped celebrate the launch of SOUTHWEST AIRLINES’ non-stop flights between NASHVILLE and PANAMA CITY, FL on SUNDAY (5/23).
HOUSER and DICKENS boarded the first plane to PANAMA CITY from MUSIC CITY and arrived in style via limousine at TOOTSIE’s PIER PARK, where they walked the purple carpet and greeted fans.
Portraits of HOUSER and DICKENS were unveiled and hung above the entrance to the packed honky-tonk. After signing autographs and posing for photos with fans, HOUSER jumped on stage and played a couple of songs for the crowd.
HOUSER said: "We songwriters love to get near the water. SOUTHWEST just made it a whole lot easier for us in country music and the whole NASHVILLE community to jump down here as quickly as we can."
