The MUSICIANS HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM released a statement TODAY (5/25) that they are in continued dialogue with city representatives in NASHVILLE, about seeking an amicable solution to finding a new home for the museum but that no solution has been reached at this time. The hall was displaced to make room for the new NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER in FEBRUARY and items were stored at SOUNDCHECK NASHVILLE while a new space was sought. Unfortunately SOUNDCHECK received major damage due to the recent flooding in MIDDLE TENNESSEE and many of museum items were ruined.
Anyone wishing to make financial contributions to the MUSICIANS HALL OF FAME to assist in instrument restoration and flood recovery can make checks to THE MUSICIANS HALL OF FAME, P.O. Box 23655, NASHVILLE, TN 37202.
The MUSICIANS HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY & AWARDS SHOW has been pushed back to SPRING 2011 due to the current relocation situation.
CURB RECORDS Chairman MIKE CURB has provided office space for the MUSICIANS HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM until a new location for the museum is found. The new offices are located in the MIKE CURB COLLEGE OF ENTERTAINMENT AND BUSINESS building at 34 Music Square East.
