'Regular Guy' Wachs Appears At Arizona SB 1070 Rally

CUMULUS Rock WNNX (ROCK 100.5)/ATLANTA morning "REGULAR GUYS" co-host LARRY WACHS appeared SATURDAY at a major rally in support of ARIZONA's anti-illegal-immigration law in TEMPE, AZ.

WACHS spoke at the "STAND WITH ARIZONA" event before a crowd of over 5,000 at TEMPE DIABLO STADIUM, SPRING home of the LOS ANGELES ANGELS. "Can you hear us, now, MEXICO? Can you hear us now? Because this land is not your land. This land is our land," the ARIZONA REPUBLIC quotes WACHS as saying in his speech at the event. "I pay for it. We work for it. We have our credentials; where are yours?"

The event also included an appearance by controversial MARICOPA COUNTY Sheriff JOE ARPAIO and MARICOPA COUNTY Sheriff's Deputy SEAN PEARCE, whose father, State Sen. RUSSELL PEARCE (R-MESA), co-sponsored the bill and who was shot by an illegal immigrant while serving a search warrant.
