Elvis Duran Group Launches Syndication Division With John McConnell

The ELVIS DURAN GROUP, the company owned by PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS and CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WHTZ (Z100)/NEW YORK morning man ELVIS DURAN and agent DAVID KATZ, has launched a new radio syndication division. Former ABC RADIO NETWORKS SVP/Programming JOHN MCCONNELL has been tapped to head the new division, partnering with DURAN and KATZ to develop content and talent for radio syndication and digital distribution. MCCONNELL, who will continue his MCCONNELL MEDIA, LLC consultancy and his work with startup digital/social media company FAMOS LLC, will be based in NEW YORK and will work directly with KATZ.
