Additional Performers, Presenters Announced For CMT Awards

Jamey, LeAnn, John Mayer To Perform

JAMEY JOHNSON, LeANN RIMES, KEITH URBAN and JOHN MAYER have been added to the performance lineup at the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, to be held JUNE 9th at 8p (ET). The show will be broadcast live from NASHVILLE’s BRIDGESTONE ARENA on CMT and CMT.com. 

JOHNSON and RIMES will be debuting new songs (“Macon” and “Swingin,’” respectively) and MAYER & URBAN will team up for a performance of URBAN’s unreleased single, “Hit The Ground Running” from his album, “Defying Gravity.” The guitar-slinging duo recently performed together for an upcoming episode of CMT CROSSROADS.

KID ROCK will be hosting the show, which also features performances by TOBY KEITH, LADY ANTEBELLUM, MIRANDA LAMBERT, TIM McGRAW, BRAD PAISLEY, CARRIE UNDERWOOD and ZAC BROWN BAND. 

Presenters include PAULA DEEN, KARA DIOGUARDI, TERRELL OWENS, HAYDEN PANETTIERE, RICHARD PETTY and KENAN THOMPSON. TRISHA YEARWOOD and ZAC BROWN BAND have also been added to the list of presenters.
