Control of WEST WAVES, INC., licensee of AC KLNN (LUNA 103.7)/QUESTA-TAOS, NM, is being sold by shareholders STUART MORTON, JOHN BRADLEY, and DAVID RAHN to ASKK MEDIA, INC. (AIDAN BAIN, SHANNON BLACK, KATE BLACK, and KATIE SPEIRS) for $355,000. ASKK MEDIA is also buying BRAD HOCKMEYER's 81.6% interest in TAOS COMMUNICATION CORP., licensee of Triple A KTAO (K-TAOS 101.9)/TAOS, for $545,000.
In another deal filed with the FCC, CALVARY CHAPEL OF COSTA MESA, INC. is selling noncommercial KAJC/MILLERSBURG, OR to CALVARY CHAPEL MONMOUTH-INDEPENDENCE for $100,000.
In a facility change filing, THE RIVER EDUCATIONAL MEDIA, INC. has applied to move FM translator W262AG/ORANGE PARK, FL to a new tower and to rebroadcast sister Gospel WZNZ-A/JACKSONVILLE.
And in silent STA filings, NEW SOUTH COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has applied for an extension of time to keep WUCL/MERIDIAN, MS off the air for financial reasons; and VOX AM/FM, LLC has taken W272AU/HANOVER, NH off the air for "financial reasons resulting from the current state of the economy."
