Portland State U. Football, Hoops Move To Freedom 970/Portland

ALPHA BROADCASTING Talk KXFD-A (FREEDOM 970)/PORTLAND will air PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY football and men's basketball under a new three-year deal starting this FALL.  TOM HEWITT, who hosts the SATURDAY morning "GOLF SHOW" on sister Spirts KXTG (95.5 THE GAME), will call the action.

"We are delighted to partner with PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY for football and basketball games on Freedom 970," said Dir./Talk Programming BRIAN JENNINGS.  "PSU is the largest institution of higher learning in OREGON and with ALPHA's commitment to local programming, we have taken yet another step forward in the mission to bring the best local content to our airwaves."
