In other FCC filings, IRA LITTMAN's RADIO 786, INC. has applied for a new AM at 1360 with 10,000 watts fulltime at TYONEK, AK (west of ANCHORAGE).
ARCHANGEL COMMUNICATIONS has filed for a silent STA for WNGL-A/MOBILE, AL, which lost its transmitter site on the day ARCHANGEL closed on its purchase of the station when a third party bought the site. The licensee has a construction permit for a new site and plans a return before SEPTEMBER 29th.
BROADCAST PROPERTIES, INC. has asked for an extension of its silent STA for KESY/STEELVILLE, MO, which went dark on SEPTEMBER 1, 2009 due to "staffing problems."
WVKX-FM RADIO, LLC has asked for an extension of its silent STA for WXKO/FORT VALLEY, GA while it searches for a new site due to financial troubles and "problems with the landlord." The station went dark last SEPTEMBER 1st.
VSA ARTS OF ALASKA/OUT NORTH has applied for a silent STA for low-power FM KONR-LP/ANCHORAGE, saying that it still plans to sign on before AUGUST 7th, but will remain silent as "foundational structure is assembled managed (sic) prior to broadcast date."
CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. has applied for a silent STA for FM translator K211DC/PAHRUMP, NV because of interference with another permit.
And HOCHMAN HAWAII THREE, INC. has asked for an extension of its silent STA for K246AY/HONOLULU because of a delay in completing a lease for its tower site.
