WHMX, WHCF Hold Father's Day Contest

BANGOR BAPTIST CHURCH Contemporary Christian LIGHTHOUSE RADIO NETWORK/BANGOR, ME, which includes WHCF and WHMX (105.7 SOLUTION FM) held its FATHER'S DAY CONTEST on SATURDAY, JUNE 19th. Five dads competed for a gas grill from BANGOR AUBUCHON HARDWARE.

Families nominated their dad for the contest and four finalists were announced last WEDNESDAY morning on WHCF and WHMX. The fifth competitor was a wild card selected from the dads that showed up SATURDAY MORNING. The five competitors were given a box with the grill in pieces and one set of tools. The first to assemble the grill won. Other prizes included a $50 gift card to BANGOR AUBUCHON HARDWARE and $30 gift card to TEXAS ROADHOUSE among others.

The winner was the wild card entry, STEPHEN TREADWELL of CARMEL, ME. TREADWELL already had a gas grill so he gave the grill to another competitor, ANDREW TEASDALE of GLENBURN, ME.
