The NEW YORK MARKET ASSOCIATION (NYMRAD) has announced its new Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, with EMMIS NEW YORK SVP/Market Manager ALEX CAMERON moving up to Chairman to take the slot left vacant with the exit of FRANK FLORES from both NYMRAD and SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM. CBS NEW YORK SVP/Market Manager DON BOULOUKOS moves up to Vice Chairman from Secretary, and CLEAR CHANNEL NEW YORK Pres./Market Manager JOE PUGLIESE joins the committee as Secretary.
"I welcome the opportunity to work with DEBORAH and our radio colleagues to advance the value of NYMRAD to its members and aggressively pursue increasing the profile and revenue share of NEW YORK Radio," said CAMERON. "I have much respect for FRANK FLORES, his contributions and reputation in our industry. We are like-minded in numerous ways, particularly in an open and collaborative approach to bringing new leadership to NYMRAD. I look forward to continuing that and thank him on behalf of all of us in this ever-changing business we love! I have no doubt he'll be back in the game soon... and joining us at our soon-to-be-announced major fall event."
"I am very excited about working with ALEX in this seamless transition of the Executive Committee," said NYMRAD Exec. Director DEBORAH BEAGAN. "ALEX has brought energy in her contributions to NYMRAD's exciting fall event we are planning, and under her leadership we will continue to develop initiatives that will advance radio in the vibrant NEW YORK marketplace."
