On JUNE 12th, the jury in the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of FLORIDA ruled in favor of TAMA BROADCASTING, INC. in its lawsuit against GLENN and CHARLES CHERRY and their company, GROUP ASSETS LLC.
In addition to monetary damages against Dr. GLENN CHERRY (TAMA’s former CEO and a current board member) for breach of fiduciary duty and CHARLES CHERRY (TAMA’s former attorney and a current board member) for professional negligence and breach of fiduciary duty, the jury found that GROUP ASSETS’ leases with TAMA for the WASHINGTON BLVD. studio/office building in TAMPA, and for the WTMP-A towers on SLIGH AVE. in TAMPA were improper and that TAMA is the rightful owner of those facilities.
TAMA was represented in the case by the TAMPA, FLORIDA law firm BUSH ROSS, P.A.
