TRIBUNE CO. Dir./Interactive Strategy & Partnerships JEFF APODACA is returning to ALBUQUERQUE as VP/GM of ENTRAVISION's cluster there, including UNIVISION affliate KLUZ-TV, TELEFUTURA affiliate KTFQ-TV (under an LMA with UNIVISION), Spanish Adult Hits KRZY-F (JOSE 105.9) and Regional Mexican KRZY-A (LA TRICOLOR 1450). APODACA, who started his career at NBC affiliate KOB-TV/ALBUQUERQUE and worked at UNIVISION, AOL, EXCITE and CBS TELEVISION before TRIBUNE, replaces MARGARITA WILDER, who segues to VP/GM at ENTRAVISION's SAN DIEGO cluster of TV stations.
"JEFF brings extensive experience in managing integrated media properties for both English- and Spanish-language platforms, and he'll be a great asset to the ALBUQUERQUE team," said Pres./COO PHILIP WILKINSON. "His strong track record of success at TRIBUNE, UNIVISION, AOL and EXCITE, and his close relationships with business and community leaders throughout NEW MEXICO speak volumes about his leadership and business acumen. We look forward to JEFF joining and want to welcome him to ENTRAVISION."
"I'm thrilled to return to ALBUQUERQUE where I started my broadcasting and media career. This vibrant market presents tremendous opportunity for ENTRAVISION's leading television and radio properties and growing digital platforms," said APODACA. "I'm looking forward to my new role and believe that my background and experience in building top rated integrated media platforms will allow me to make immediate contributions to the team."
