Rachel Rose Joins 88Nine/Milwaukee

RACHEL ROSE, a music assistant and announcer at EMERSON COLLEGE Non-Comm WERS/BOSTON, has been named MILWAUKEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS Triple A/Young Urban hybrid WYMS (88NINE RADIOMILWAUKEE)’s Music Director and afternoon-drive host.

"I look forward to joining the stellar team of 'music heads' at 88NINE RADIOMILWAUKEE," ROSE said. "Their enthusiasm for diverse programming and commitment to community interaction promises to draw greater national attention and champions the relevancy of FM radio."

88NINE RADIOMILWAUKEE Executive Dir. MARY LOUISE MUSSOLINE said, "RACHEL brings our listeners an adventurous musical taste and engaging on-air presence.  She already sounds like she belongs on 88NINE. RACHEL will help us continue to build on our commitment to play diverse music for a diverse city."

ROSE graduates from EMERSON in JULY with a Bachelor's in Media Production and a minor in Journalism.  She has completed the certificate program at the CONNECTICUT SCHOOLS OF BROADCASTING in HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, Nj.  Rose starts at 88NIN RADIOMILWAUKEE on JULY 19th.
