Dave Grosby Moving To Midday Slot At 710 ESPN Seattle

BONNEVILLE Sports KIRO-A (710 ESPN)/SEATTLE moves DAVE GROSBY into the noon-3p (PT) slot starting AUGUST 9th. GROSBY did middays at crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KJR-A before moving to 710 ESPN earlier this year as KEVIN CALABRO's afternoon co-host. BROCK HUARD and MIKE SALK move back to 9a-noon to make room for THE GROZ; the move displaces ESPN RADIO's COLIN COWHERD from the schedule. CALABRO continues 3-6p with JIM MOORE as co-host.
"We are putting 'THE GROZ' back in his time honored, midday spot where he spent 16 years as a dominant force in local sports media. DAVE is one of the NORTHWEST's best-known, most popular and longest tenured sports personalities," said PD OWEN MURPHY. "In addition, this change moves 'BROCK AND SALK' earlier in the day providing more flexibility to expand on the NFL, NCAA football and Major League Baseball. It keeps KEVIN CALABRO in his current time slot along with sports columnist, JIM MOORE. We've adjusted our local programming to follow the country's most dominant sports talk radio show, 'MIKE AND MIKE IN THE MORNING."
