CITADEL Classic Rock WVRX (THE EDGE)/WASHINGTON, D.C. is set to debut the KIRK MCEWEN & MIKE O’MEARA Morning Show, starting WEDNESDAY, JULY 7th starting at 5a. Joining MCEWEN & O’MEARA is D.C. and BALTIMORE veteran radio producer JEFF SHAMROCK.
MCEWEN, a WASHINGTON and BALTIMORE Rock radio veteran, will move from his current afternoon-drive slot to mornings. "In a city known for its monuments, this is monumental!" MCEWEN said. "I couldn't be more amped."
O’MEARA earned his stripes in the D.C. area as one-half of the legendary "DON & MIKE Show." "For the first time in my career, my favorite music will be on the same station with my favorite personality -- me," O’MEARA said.
"KIRK & MIKE are two extremely popular radio personalities that each have an incredible D.C. and BALTIMORE fan base, and it’s so exciting to be able to put them together on The EDGE," OM KENNY KING said. "However, I feel the need to apologize in advance for what’s about to happen on 105.9-FM because I can't predict the type of trouble these guys are gonna get us into! I guarantee it'll be entertaining."
