Sirius XM Hires John Marks To Handle Country Programming

ALL ACCESS has learned that LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA Country KSON/SAN DIEGO PD JOHN MARKS has been tapped to run Country programming at SIRIUS XM SATELLITE RADIO, as he has been named .Senior Director, Country Music Programming.
MARKS has resigned his position in SAN DIEGO, and will relocate to NASHVILLE. He replaces JON ANTHONY, who now program's KENNY CHESNEY's NO SHOES RADIO (www.noshoesradio.com).
MARKS will be responsible for overseeing the company's five commercial-free country music channels, plus Elvis Radio, The Village, Bluegrass Junction and two Christian music channels on SIRIUS XM’s satellite radio service and the Internet. MARKS, who will report to STEVE BLATTER, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Music Programming, will begin AUGUST 2nd, 2010.
