Cox/Tulsa Names Gene Vidler VP/MM, Shuffles Sales Staff

COX MEDIA GROUP/TULSA, OK has named.GENE VIDLER as VP/Market Manager and made several changes in its Sales department. He replaces DAN LAWRIE, who was named as VP/Market Manager of its SAN ANTONIO cluster.
VIDLER will be responsible for CMG/TULSA stations KRMG-A/F, KWEN, KJSR and KRAV. "I am excited to lead CMG/TULSA and look forward to continuing to work with all of the outstanding people who work here," VIDLER said. "All of CMG/TULSA’s stations have great positions in the community, and our people are well respected. TULSA is a great place to live and work, and I look forward to representing our stations here."
"GENE is a proven leader in our TULSA cluster, having served as GSM for each of our stations over his career with CMG," CMG Group VP BEN REED said. "We will all continue to benefit from GENE’s leadership. Other personnel changes at CMG/TULSA includes the appointment of MARY ROGERS as VP/Sales for the cluster, along with day-to-day GSM responsibilities for KRMG; LISA HIZER as GSM of KRAV, and MATT LEDBETTER as GSM of KWEN / KJSR.
