A COLORADO-based radio infomercial company has been sued by the COLORADO Attorney General's office, reports the DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL. REAL TALK NETWORK INC., its President DAVID ALLEN BURKE and sales executive ERIC SALE were named in the complaint, which alleges that the company, offering credit repair services, "deceived, misled, and financially injured consumers both within and outside COLORADO" and operated in violation of state and federal laws.
The AG's office filed the suit in ADAMS COUNTY District Court, alleging that the company misrepresented BURKE's background, omitting his two bankruptcy filings in 13 years, and that the company offers a "free" seminar that pressures consumers to spend thousands of dollars on the company's services. A temporary restraining order was issued last week against REAL TALK NETWORK, preventing it from soliciting debt elimination and credit repair business.
