Carrie Underwood Album Goes Platinum For The 7th Time

Congrats to ARISTA/NASHVILLE SVP/Promo SKIP BISHOP, National Promo Dir. LESLY TYSON and the whole team as CARRIE UNDERWOOD accolades keep rolling in. Her 2005 debut album, released right after she was named the ‘season five’ winner of AMERICAN IDOL, has just been certified seven-times Platinum.

Season one AMERICAN IDOL champion, KELLY CLARKSON has sold more than six million albums of her 2004 CD “Breakaway.”

CARRIE UNDERWOOD is also at the top of the MEDIABASE Country Singles Chart today (7/26) with her latest single “Undo It.”  This becomes UNDERWOOD's 13th No. 1 Country single.
