Oklahoma Music Hall Of Fame Announces New Inductees

SAM HARRIS, JAMIE OLDAKER, JEAN SHEPARD and LES GILLIAM have been announced as the latest inductees into the OKLAHOMA MUSIC HALL OF FAME. The 14th annual induction ceremony and concert will take place NOVEMBER 4th at the MUSKOGEE CIVIC CENTER in MUSKOGEE, OK.
HARRIS, a CUSHING, OK native, won the premiere season of the TV show, “Star Search.” OLDAKER, who hails from TULSA, is the drummer for the Country group THE TRACTORS. SHEPARD, who was born in PAULS VALLEY, is a member of the GRAND OLE OPRY and GILLIAM, who is from GENE AUTRY, OK, is known as the “OKLAHOMA Balladeer.”
Previous OK MUSIC HOF inductees include VINCE GILL, TOBY KEITH, MERLE HAGGARD, WANDA JACKSON, LEONA MITCHELL, ROY CLARK, LEON RUSSELL, WOODY GUTHRIE, THE ALL AMERICAN REJECTS and CARRIE UNDERWOOD.
