Gary Allan Helps Raise $225,000 For Dempster Family Foundation

MCA artist GARY ALLAN headlined an event in CHICAGO last WEDNESDAY night (07/21) in CHICAGO, raising over $225,000 for the DEMPSTER FAMILY FOUNDATION. The foundation was launched by CHICAGO CUBS pitcher RYAN DEMPSTER and his wife JENNY in JANUARY, 2010. 

They did it to honor their 15-month-old daughter RILEY, who was born with 22q/DiGeorge Syndrome, caused by deletions within the 22q11 Chromosome. The effects of DiGeorge can include heart problems, cleft palate, immune deficiency, as well as a spectrum of developmental issues including learning disabilities, social and emotional challenges.

The DEMPSTER FAMILY FOUNDATION strives to provide support for family living with 22q/DiGeorge through monetary grants, programs and increased community awareness.
