D.L. Hughley Missing

EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS Urban AC WRKS (98.7 KISS)/NEW YORK appears to have lost their morning drive host , comedian D.L. HUGHLEY. 

HUGHLEY has been involved in a controversial contract situation with URBAN RADIO, the syndication company, over who is responsible for paying him. The controversy goes back several months. 

The station finally agreed to pay HUGHLEY, while they worked out the compensation arrangements with URBAN. Station officials will only say that HUGHLEY is away, supposedly on a film project. However, HUGHLEY mentioned on-the-air MONDAY (AUGUST 9th) that it was his last day. EMMIS station management had no comment.
